Prof. Dr. med. h.c. Hüseyin Nazlıkul, M.D., Ph.D.

Physician | Specialist in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine | Researcher in Integrative Medicine, Regulation Medicine, and Medical Biophysics

President of the International Federation of Medical Associations of Neural Therapy (IFMANT)

Prof. Dr. med. h.c. Hüseyin Nazlıkul is an internationally recognized physician, researcher, and educator in the fields of Neural Therapy, Regulation Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Medical Biophysics, and Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. For more than three decades, he has combined scientific research, clinical practice, and international medical education, making significant contributions to the development of modern Regulation Medicine.

Born on May 10, 1963, in Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye, his scientific and intellectual development began at an early age through his interest in classical world literature. He continued his secondary education in Germany, where he was awarded an Erich Fromm Scholarship during his high school years.

He began his academic education in Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt and later studied medicine at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt and the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University. He completed his specialty training in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.

Dr. Nazlıkul further expanded his scientific career through interdisciplinary doctoral research. At Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, he conducted research on the scientific foundations of Neural Therapy and the treatment of functional interference fields. In recognition of his scientific contributions to preventive and integrative medicine, he was awarded the honorary academic title Professor honoris causa (Prof. Dr. med. h.c.).

His principal research interests include Neural Therapy, Neuroimmunology, Chronic Inflammation, Pain Medicine, Fascia Research, the Autonomic Nervous System, Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Manual Medicine, and Integrative Regulation Medicine.

Prof. Dr. Nazlıkul is the author of numerous scientific books, book chapters in international reference works, original research articles, review papers, and professional publications. His work has been translated into several languages and has received international recognition.

In addition to his scientific publications, he has served for many years in national and international scientific societies, expert committees, and academic working groups. He has actively contributed to the development of medical education standards, professional curricula, and international postgraduate training programs while promoting the scientific advancement of Integrative Medicine.

As President of the International Federation of Medical Associations of Neural Therapy (IFMANT), he represents and promotes international scientific collaboration in the field of Neural Therapy. He is also the founder of the Scientific Society of Neural Therapy and Regulation Medicine (BNR), which has played a pioneering role in establishing Neural Therapy as a scientifically recognized medical discipline in Türkiye.

In 2023, Prof. Dr. Nazlıkul completed his second doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Medical Biophysics at the Graduate School of Health Sciences, Aydın Adnan Menderes University. This interdisciplinary research further strengthened his expertise at the intersection of medicine, biophysics, and regulation medicine, particularly in the fields of cell physiology, neurobiophysics, electromagnetic fields, autonomic regulation, and functional medicine.

His academic career is distinguished by two interdisciplinary doctoral degrees. The first focused on Neural Therapy, Holistic Medicine, and Regulation Medicine at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, while the second was completed in Medical Biophysics at Aydın Adnan Menderes University in 2023.

This unique combination of Clinical Medicine, Medical Biophysics, and Regulation Medicine forms the scientific foundation of his international research, teaching, and publication activities. His work is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach that integrates modern biophysics with the principles of regulation medicine and evidence-based clinical medicine.

His research focuses on the functional interactions between the nervous system, immune system, fascia, microcirculation, and cellular regulation, providing the scientific basis for innovative diagnostic and therapeutic concepts in Neural Therapy and Regulation Medicine.

Under his scientific leadership, 20 national symposia, 10 international congresses, and 2 World Congresses on Neural Therapy have been organized. More than 2,000 physicians have participated in the educational programs he developed, and approximately 600 physicians have successfully completed the two-year certified postgraduate training program.

For more than 25 years, Prof. Dr. Nazlıkul has been teaching internationally in the fields of Neural Therapy, Manual Medicine, Orthomolecular Medicine, Scientific Acupuncture, Homotoxicology, and Applied Kinesiology. As an internationally invited speaker, he regularly delivers lectures, workshops, and hands-on training courses throughout Europe, North and South America, and Asia.

His scientific philosophy is built upon interdisciplinary thinking. His primary objective is to investigate the functional relationships between the nervous system, immune system, fascia, microcirculation, and cellular regulation, and to translate these findings into innovative diagnostic and therapeutic concepts for 21st-century medicine.

Through his research, publications, and international teaching activities, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Nazlıkul is regarded as one of the internationally recognized representatives of scientifically oriented Neural Therapy and Regulation Medicine, contributing significantly to the advancement of these disciplines worldwide.
