The dangerous consequences of excessive exposure... The resulting health problems
We support technology developed for the benefit of humanity and freedom of communication. However, we are opposed to applications that increase environmental pollution and strip people of their right to a healthy life, and to the fact that the public is not informed about this by the companies involved. Even the fact that this issue is being intensely debated is proof of just how serious a problem base stations and EMFs (electromagnetic fields) pose in terms of human health.
Electromagnetic pollution is inevitably experienced, even though undesired, due to the constant use of technology. Power transmission lines, communication systems, and systems where various electrical processes are carried out can be defined as sources of EMF. The electromagnetic pollution discussed here differs from air, water, and noise pollution in three respects.
The first is that electromagnetic pollution cannot be perceived by our senses (with the exception of light); the second is that it can produce therapeutic effects in certain situations. The third is that the effects of exposure are not fully understood.
The intensity of electromagnetic fields increases as one approaches the source emitting the power. At very close distances, it is also possible for it to exceed the values accepted as limits. In residential areas, the practice of mounting antennas on top of buildings for radio, TV, and mobile phone transmitters and repeaters causes an increase in EMF levels around the building.
ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION
Today, as environmental pollution has reached extreme levels, electromagnetic environmental pollution has also been added to this pollution due to the increasing number of radio and TV channels, mobile phones, and computers. Electromagnetic fields can cause great damage to the human organism. The human body is a giant electrical system that carries out its functions at voltages between 1-250 microvolts, operating with 5,000,000,000 nerve cells spanning a length of 500,000 km. Therefore, electromagnetic fields affect this system and can damage the natural electrical circulation. A person's intense exposure to an electromagnetic environment produces dangerous consequences. If EMF affects this sensitive system from the outside, the natural circulation can be damaged. Related disorders can arise in the circulatory system and nervous system. It is now also a fact accepted by medicine that the continuous weakening of the body's immune system will have a "cancer-promoting effect."
Health problems caused by electromagnetic fields:
-Brain and blood cancer
-Loss of reproductive function
-Heart health problems
-Stress and sleep disorders
-Increase in blood pressure
-Headache
-Chronic fatigue
-Dizziness
-It has been reported to cause negative effects such as an increase in cancer and birth defects in humans by damaging the genetic structure of cells.
