Overcoming the stress that plagues every businessperson and every employee is actually very easy. And it can be done without medication, without a doctor...

Stress has a direct negative effect on our body's immune system.

The immune system functions better under the parasympathetic nervous system, which controls the body's functions during rest and sleep. Stress, however, activates the sympathetic nervous system, triggering the general adaptation syndrome. Under stress, the adrenal glands secrete increasing amounts of hormones, and these chemical changes cause the thymus to shrink, hindering the production of white blood cells.

A CALM LIFE IS ESSENTIAL

This prevents the immune system from functioning properly, making the body more vulnerable to infections and diseases. Stress is among the leading causes of aging and illness. Chronic stress overload stimulates the adrenal glands, causing them to secrete increasingly higher levels of cortisone.

Cortisone has a harmful effect on the consciousness and concentration centers in our memory. It damages nerve cells. As a result, depression, memory loss, decreased energy, sleep disorders and sexual problems occur.

A calm life is essential. To be healthy, we must live a life free from chronic stress. However, it's only when symptoms and complaints of illness appear that we realize health is the most valuable asset in life. As an Italian proverb says, "Health is like salt — you only notice it when it's missing."

WE ALSO NEED A LITTLE STRESS...

According to scientific opinion, the way to stay healthy is to avoid the factors that create illness. This advice will help you by offering methods and support for an individual health and fitness program, so that you can increase your body's and mind's efficiency and learn how to stay away from stress.

Stress directly affects your health: Stress has a direct negative effect on our body's immune system. The immune system triggers the general adaptation syndrome by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, which controls the body's functions during rest and sleep.

Under stress, the adrenal glands secrete increasing amounts of hormones, and these chemical changes cause the thymus to shrink, hindering the production of white blood cells. This prevents the immune system from functioning properly, making the body more vulnerable to infections and diseases.

For many years, symptoms of stress have been dangerous for both our mental and physical health. In fact, we do need a bit of stress. Experiencing stress at certain levels keeps us more alert and alive. It's not possible to stay away from stress entirely in our daily lives. What matters is not experiencing stress to a degree that will harm our body and mind.

For this reason, we should not let the stress we are exposed to accumulate, and should keep it under control by engaging in physical activity and calming our body and mental state. I will address this topic further in my next article.
