Symptoms of chronic fatigue... What should treatment look like

THE MAIN SYMPTOMS OF CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME

  • Decreased concentration
  • Excessive tendency to sleep
  • Weight loss or weight gain
  • Night sweats
  • Gas in the abdominal area
  • Sore throat
  • Fever, chills
  • Ringing and buzzing in the ears
  • Difficulty reading
  • Tension
  • Morning stiffness in the joints
  • Complaints of muscle weakness
  • Swollen lymph nodes in the neck and armpits, sore throat, muscle pain, and transient joint pain
  • A feeling of severe weakness, morning fatigue
  • Forgetfulness, headache, depression
  • Sensitivity to sound and noise

  • To prevent this, never, ever neglect going for walks outdoors in particular. Take short breaks between various daily tasks. Spend time alone with your emotions and thoughts; talk to yourself if necessary, and try to be happy. Rejoice by thinking of your happiest moments, and recall the last time you laughed and relive that moment. Keep your sleep schedule as regular as possible. Quality sleep is necessary not only to shake off fatigue, but for your entire body to rest and renew itself.

  • TREATMENT: The most important approach is to provide treatment targeting the cause after a detailed laboratory workup. In the laboratory workup, stool analyses must absolutely be performed in addition to blood values. Any products you take must absolutely be under a doctor's supervision.

If you have thyroid insufficiency, your fatigue will disappear if you resolve the problem by taking the dose of thyroid hormone your doctor deems appropriate.
