Overcoming stress is actually very easy
Overcoming stress, the bane of every businessperson and every employee, is actually very easy. And what's more, without medication or a doctor...
Stress has a direct negative effect on our immune system.
The immune system functions better under the control of the parasympathetic nervous system, which controls the body's functions during rest and sleep. Stress, however, activates the general adaptation syndrome by stimulating the sympathetic nervous system. Under stress, as the adrenal glands secrete increasing amounts of hormones, these chemical changes cause the thymus to shrink, inhibiting the production of white blood cells.
This condition prevents the immune system from functioning properly, leaving the body more open to infections and illness. Stress is also among the leading causes of aging and falling ill. Chronic stress loads stimulate the adrenal glands, causing increasingly higher amounts of cortisone to be secreted.
Cortisone has a harmful effect on the consciousness and concentration center in our brain. It damages nerve cells. As a result, depression, memory loss, decreased energy, sleep disorders, and sexual problems emerge.
In short, a calm life is essential for us. To be healthy, we must lead a life free of chronic stress. However, it is only when symptoms and complaints of illness appear that people realize health is the most valuable thing in life. As an Italian proverb says:
"Health is like salt, it's only noticed when it's missing."
According to scientific views, the way to stay healthy is by avoiding the factors that create illness. This advice will help you by offering methods and assistance regarding an individual health and fitness program, so that you can increase your bodily and mental productivity and learn how to stay away from stress.
STRESS DIRECTLY AFFECTS OUR HEALTH!
Stress has a direct negative effect on our immune system. It activates the general adaptation syndrome by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, which controls the body's functions during rest and sleep.
Hormones released in excess from the adrenal glands during stress cause chemical changes in the body that disrupt the production of cells important for the immune system. A body whose immune system has been disrupted becomes prone to illness and infection.
Although symptoms of stress are dangerous for our physical and mental health, we actually need a certain amount of stress. Experiencing stress at certain levels will keep us more alert in life. It's not possible to stay away from stress entirely in our daily lives. What matters is not experiencing stress to a degree that will harm our body and mind.
For this reason, we need to keep stress under control by not letting the stress we're exposed to accumulate, engaging in physical activities, and calming our body and mental state.
Relaxation exercises: For example, it's necessary to do relaxation exercises individually, such as physical exercise, yoga, and meditation. Although artists or people engaged in sports that require speed are under intense stress, thanks to regular relaxation exercises, they don't experience concentration problems in their work and daily life. Calm music in particular is good for stress. If music is listened to regularly with eyes closed, the harmony of health can be strengthened. Racing against time triggers stress. The inability to complete certain tasks within the given time is among the leading causes that trigger stress.
A person who organizes their work schedule well, on the other hand, can set aside time for hobbies and leisure activities in daily life and lead a life free of stress.
Anti-stress plants: With the help of these healing plants, our body's ability to take on responsibility can become more dominant in the face of stress factors.
As an active substance, ginseng root has proven adaptogenic effects. This plant regulates stress. Ginseng comes from Asia's rich treasury of traditional medicine and is a traditional plant used to help people become strong and healthy. This healing plant increases a person's productivity. It relieves physical and mental fatigue by reducing the need for rest. This course should be followed for at least 4 weeks, after which a break of several weeks should be taken.
Mood plants: St. John's wort and kava kava are plants that help against stress. They have antidepressant, mood-improving, and fear-reducing effects.
Mood plants positively affect mental state. Events and situations that cause stress are met with less anxiety, and people approach events more calmly.
St. John's wort is available as a fresh plant juice and as a red oil-based substance. For St. John's wort to create the desired effect as a remedy, it needs to be taken regularly for at least 2 weeks. For the effect of kava kava to appear, it should be used for at least 10 days. For extended use of up to two months, a doctor should definitely be consulted.
Relaxation plants: Plants that are soothing, relieve tension, and help with falling asleep are valerian, lemon balm, hops, and lavender. Lemon balm and lavender, above all, leave a relaxing effect on a person thanks to their pleasant scent. A pillow made from hops helps you sleep better.
