'Losing Weight While Sleeping!' - Who Wouldn't Want That? If you want to be healthy and slim, 'proper sleep' can make that happen.
If you want to be healthy and slim, 'proper sleep' can make that happen.

The good news: This isn't a dream. Because our body really does burn fat at night. That's why losing weight while sleeping is not a utopia.

OUR BODY'S BIORHYTHM IS VERY IMPORTANT

But of course, it's not possible to burn off unnecessary and unwanted weight just by sleeping. That's why it's essential to first regulate your diet. Filling your stomach with all kinds of food during the day and then expecting to slim down just by sleeping will amount to nothing more than wishful thinking.

But if you take your biorhythm into account and eat accordingly, you can lose weight even while sleeping, on your way to your ideal weight.

You can stay slim thanks to healthy sleep

Sleep is not a passive time; in fact, it's quite an active process. While we rest by sleeping at night to gain new energy for the next day, our body is at work. Cells are cleansed and repaired, new cells are formed, toxins are filtered out, cleared away, and removed from the body, and lymph flow is stimulated. This tightens the tissue. For all of this, the body naturally needs energy.

During quality sleep, the body draws this energy entirely from its own existing fat stores, on our behalf. But for our body to be able to truly dedicate itself to these tasks, it's very important for the stomach to be empty. For this reason, you shouldn't eat late at night, and you should get 6-8 hours of quality sleep.

Another equally important matter is the digestive system. The digestive system needs to be given a rest by not consuming food late at night. While your body repairs itself during sleep, it shouldn't also be busy digesting and processing food. In other words, only when the intestines are as empty as possible and not carrying food to digest will fat burning during sleep be optimal. At the same time, in this state, our body's cleansing process can work at full speed, and we can slim down while sleeping.

You can support this positive effect through your own lifestyle. If you pay attention to your body's biorhythm, your own internal clock, slimming down will be much easier.

Although "biological clock," "biorhythm," and "circadian rhythm" are terms we've been hearing frequently in recent times, I had already written about which hour of the day the body works according to and with what rhythm in my books "Acupuncture: Complementary Medicine," published in 2002, and "Discover Life," published in 2003. In my book "Discover Life," I had specifically talked about how healthy it is to forgo dinner.

Lose weight with the insulin-food combination

The relationship between biorhythm and the potential for fat burning during sleep has been much discussed, and it is now accepted to be entirely accurate.

Nutrition and sports scientists point to an insulin-food combination that, together with sufficient sleep and daily exercise, can lead to the desired success in weight loss.

Insulin is a hormone that stores fat and can control fat burning. This is because insulin is responsible for carrying nutrients into cells so they can be used to produce energy. Once a cell has absorbed sufficient nutrients, all remaining nutrients initially stay in the blood. Afterward, the pancreas begins producing insulin again, up to three times the original amount.

However, since our cells no longer need insulin, the available insulin is stored by the body in fat tissue. This can lead to obesity and even to what we call diabetes. For this reason, the pancreas should be prevented from constantly secreting insulin.

The insulin-food combination should make it possible to provide the body with the right energy at every moment it needs it. Energy should come from carbohydrates during the day and from fats at night. This way, the body functions in the best possible way, enabling you to burn fat at night—that is, to lose weight while sleeping.

Eating and exercising at the right time slims you down

For the success of the insulin-food combination, it's important to stick to which foods are appropriate at which time of day.

Three meals a day, at least five hours apart, are assumed as the fixed meals. Small snacks between meals are not allowed. Because the pancreas is forced to work again with each snack. This means the insulin level between main meals won't drop appropriately either. If you get hungry in between, you can drink green tea. Because green tea is beneficial for appetite control.

It's important to have a generous breakfast with eggs, olives, and whole grains, and to make sure breakfast contains enough carbohydrates for our body to use for energy throughout the day. A combination of carbohydrates, fat, and protein is recommended for lunch. In the evening, fish, salad, and raw vegetables are ideal. In the evening, potatoes, pasta, rice, processed food, and any food containing a lot of carbohydrates should absolutely not be consumed, as they stimulate insulin release.

Exercise also plays a very important role in weight loss. It's important to do sports and regular exercise consistently. Endurance sports are ideal in the mornings, and muscle-building exercises should be done in the evenings.

If you want to be healthy and slim, I also have some additional advice for you. If you still can't achieve the results you want despite this advice, then that's when, at the latest, you should apply to our clinic.

The goal should always be to permanently change your lifestyle with a healthy diet and more exercise. You need to be disciplined to reach your goal.

Don't eat if you're not hungry

Eating is generally controlled not by hunger, but by the clock. Most people sit down at the table right at 12 o'clock—hungry or not—just for a wonderful meal. If you want to stay slim, you should listen to your body's signals and eat only when you're truly hungry.

Eat slowly and chew your bites well

If hunger takes hold of you and you sit down to eat, you'll have trouble eating slowly. When you put a large bite in your mouth at a breathtaking speed and swallow it without chewing it thoroughly, the burden on the digestive system increases. This can have serious consequences in the long run.

Instead of eating and swallowing in a hurry, you should eat slowly. Every bite should be chewed thoroughly, and short pauses should be taken during the meal. Even if you've eaten enough, it will take a little time for you to feel full.

Drink water, mineral water, and herbal teas

When you drink plenty of water, mineral water, and herbal teas, you won't feel hungry because your stomach will always be full. Drinking a glass of water or mineral water half an hour before meals will fill you up.  Due to the increase in volume, the stomach walls stretch, creating a feeling of fullness, so you eat less.

Exercise is the best fat burner

Regular physical exercise increases energy expenditure and promotes fat burning. Another advantage is that it increases muscle mass.

An increase in muscle mass also increases basal metabolic rate. Unlike fat, muscles expend energy even when not in use. For sport to be effective, it needs to be done for at least 30 minutes, and if possible, three times a week.

Consume beverages the right way

Those who love to eat should also take care to consume beverages that are energy-free or low in energy. When it comes to calories, a glass of fruit juice or lemonade should not be taken lightly. If you drink half a liter of fruit juice with your usual meal, you'll easily gain weight.

Alcoholic beverages should also be consumed in moderation. 1 gram of alcohol has an energy content of 7 kilocalories. Compared to fats, 1 gram of fat provides 9 kilocalories of energy.

Insomnia makes you gain weight

Sleep is a time period during which the body renews itself. Sleeping on an empty stomach ensures you sleep with quality.

Don't impose strict prohibitions on your diet

Everything that is forbidden has a special appeal, especially when it comes to food. Stay away from processed refined carbohydrates. Remove chocolate, cake, biscuits, and alcoholic and sugary beverages entirely from your daily life. But if you completely remove these foods from your life and then can't stop yourself once you've had them once, you can consume them occasionally as a small taste in order to prevent this.

The scent of vanilla against sugar cravings

The sweet scent of vanilla helps you resist sugary foods. Vanilla-scented oil or a vanilla-scented candle can increase your resistance to sugar and help you resist a sweet craving. Cinnamon is also a beneficial spice that prevents sugar cravings. It can lower blood sugar and blood lipid levels.

Hot pepper excites you

Hot pepper contains capsaicin, which gives it its sharp taste. It increases energy expenditure in the body and can help you lose weight.

Vegetables and fruits are a must on the menu

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, your menu should be full of seasonal vegetables and fruits. Fresh vegetables contain many vitamins, minerals, essential substances, provitamins, and secondary plant compounds. Most vegetables and fruits consist primarily of water and therefore have a low energy content.

Fiber-rich foods keep you full

Consuming plenty of fiber-rich foods keeps you full for a long time. They can bind large amounts of water, swell up, and thus make you feel full. Mixing a tablespoon of grain bran with yogurt will help you stay full longer.

Important note: If you consume too much fiber, you should drink plenty of fluids; otherwise, digestive problems are inevitable.

If, despite all this advice, you are not getting results, then it's time to apply, without wasting any more time, to a clinic that offers nutritional counseling together with regulation medicine and neural therapy.
